How does it work?

Open or upgrade to an annual plan between 29 November and 2 December 2024 and get 50% cashback on the cost of the subscription fee.

Cashback will be paid into your General Investment Account (GIA) by 3 January 2025.

Who can take up the offer?

• Basic customers can upgrade to either a Standard or Plus annual plan and get cashback.
• Standard customers on a monthly plan can switch to Standard annual billing, or upgrade to a Plus annual plan and get cashback.
• Standard customers on an annual plan can upgrade to a Plus annual plan and get cashback.
• Plus customers on a monthly plan can switch to Plus annual billing and get cashback.
  
  

Can I cancel my subscription and re-subscribe to get cashback?

No, this offer is only for new subscribers and those upgrading or switching to annual.

Black Friday Offer Terms and Conditions

Introduction

1. Freetrade Limited’s (“Freetrade”, “we”, “us” or “our”) Black Friday Offer Campaign (“Black Friday Offer Campaign”) is offered subject to these Black Friday Offer Terms & Conditions (“Black Friday Offer Terms & Conditions”). By taking any actions under the Black Friday Offer Campaign, you agree to be bound by these Black Friday Offer Terms & Conditions. These Black Friday Offer Terms & Conditions are governed by English law.

2. Under the Black Friday Offer Campaign, cashback will be awarded to a relevant Account Holder who meets the criteria set out in these Black Friday Offer Terms & Conditions. In these Black Friday Offer Terms & Conditions, the cashback award is referred to as the “Award”.

3. The Black Friday Offer Campaign will be valid for the Validity Period, unless we extend that Validity Period. We may withdraw or amend these Black Friday Offer Terms & Conditions to the extent that the withdrawal or amendment is not to your detriment, by updating them on our website.

4. Any Freetrade account opened will be subject to Freetrade’s Terms and Conditions which can be found here. “Freetrade Account” has the meaning given in those terms.

‍How you qualify for an Award

5.  In order to qualify for an Award, you must:

(a) during the Validity Period, switch from being either:

(i) a basic Freetrade customer who opens an annual Standard or Plus subscription; or

(ii) a monthly Standard subscriber who switches to an annual Standard or Plus subscription; or

(iii) an annual Standard subscriber who switches to an annual Plus Subscription; or

(iv) a monthly Plus subscriber who switches to an annual Plus subscription.

(b) have passed all of our onboarding checks; and

(c) be a UK tax resident.

6. You will only remain eligible for an Award if you:

(a) continue to meet the criteria up until the time the Award is made; and

(b) are not in breach of Freetrade’s Terms and Conditions and do not have any outstanding liability to Freetrade, or have not behaved in a way that we reasonably consider to be abusive, in bad faith, or fraudulent.

7. If you stop your Freetrade annual subscription before the end of the annual term, the amount of cashback you receive will be deducted from the refund you receive for the unused part of your subscription. Please see section 13 of Freetrade’s Terms and Conditions for what happens when you stop your Freetrade subscription.

8. Employees and contractors of Freetrade are eligible to receive an Award under these Black Friday Offer Terms and Conditions.

‍Value of the Award

9. The value of the Award is set out in the table below.

Making the Award

10. We will make an Award under the Black Friday Offer Campaign by paying the Award into your Freetrade GIA.

11. Freetrade will use its best endeavours to make any Award to which you are entitled to under the Black Friday Offer Campaign:

1. within thirty (30) calendar days of qualifying for the Award.
2. If the Award has not been made within this timeframe, you should email hello@freetrade.io.

12. We reserve the right to not make an Award under this Black Friday Offer Campaign if you have breached the terms and conditions of any Freetrade campaign you have previously participated in.

13. We reserve the right to refuse to make an Award if we reasonably consider you to have engaged in activity we deem to be abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of these Black Friday Offer Terms & Conditions.

‍Tax implications

14. Freetrade does not give tax advice or take account of your individual tax position. You are responsible for understanding your own tax position in relation to your Freetrade Account(s) and the Award.

15.  Neither the making of an Award nor any of our communications in connection with the Black Friday Offer Campaign constitute a recommendation by us to buy, sell, exercise any rights in or hold any financial instrument. Under no circumstances does Freetrade provide investment advice and individual investors should make their own decisions on what investments are right for them or seek independent advice.
