Following hot on the heels of German and Finnish stocks, Dutch stocks have now arrived on your app.

The rollout of European stocks continues.

Following hot on the heels of German and Finnish stocks, Dutch stocks have now arrived on your app. 🇳🇱

We’re adding more shares traded on other major European exchanges over the next few months.

We’ve gone direct to pan-European exchanges to offer you the best possible experience, making Freetrade one of a few brokerages in the UK offering direct access for retail investors to European markets.

Tell me more about Dutch stocks?

Founded in 1602, the Amsterdam Stock Exchange is considered the oldest still-functioning stock exchange in the world.

Stalwart attractions like beer behemoth Heineken sit next to long standing Ajax sponsor ABN AMRO (an intensely Dutch example) as well as internet investment company Prosus, who are likely to pique tech investors’ interest.

You can now find 39 Dutch stocks on your app, including:

  • Beer producers Heineken
  • Sat-nav makers TomTom
  • Investment bank ABN AMRO

See the full list here.

Are these stocks available to all users?

We’ll be following the same principles for European stocks as we have for UK and US stocks.

For Dutch stocks, this means all users will be able to access stocks on the main index of the exchange, the Amsterdam 25.

The remainder of stocks outside the main index will be for Standard and Plus customers.

Keep your eyes peeled over the coming weeks and months as we roll out further European countries.
