WHEN YOU INVEST, YOUR CAPITAL IS AT RISK. THE VALUE OF YOUR INVESTMENTS CAN GO DOWN AS WELL AS UP AND YOU MAY GET BACK LESS THAN YOU INVEST. ISA AND SIPP  ELIGIBILITY AND TAX RULES APPLY. US DIVIDENDS RECEIVED INTO YOUR SIPP MAY BE SUBJECT TO US WITHHOLDING TAX.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. 01
If you don’t have one already, open your Freetrade account.
  2. 02
Ensure you’re on a Standard or Plus plan with an annual subscription, and open your Freetrade ISA or SIPP.
  3. 03
Contribute at least £5,000 (net) to your ISA and/or SIPP by 5 April 2025. You can either top up your account, or transfer in from another provider.
  4. 04
    We’ll award your free share(s) by 15 July 2025.
IMPORTANT: IF YOU WITHDRAW OR TRANSFER OUT OF YOUR ISA AND/OR SIPP BEFORE THE FREE SHARES ARE AWARDED, THIS MAY RESULT IN YOU FALLING INTO A LOWER TIER. SEE OFFER TERMS HERE.

CHECK BEFORE YOU TRANSFER A PENSION TO US THAT WE CAN ACCEPT YOUR INVESTMENTS, YOU WON’T LOSE ANY GUARANTEES, AND THAT YOU KNOW WHAT CHARGES YOU MAY INCUR. SEEK ADVICE IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT MAKING A TRANSFER.

PENSIONS THAT ARE TRANSFERRED TO THE FREETRADE SIPP MAY LOSE THE PROTECTED PENSION AGE BENEFIT. THIS MEANS THAT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DRAW THE MONIES FROM THE FREETRADE SIPP UNTIL YOU ARE AGED 57. PLEASE ENSURE YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU AND THE EFFECT IT MAY HAVE ON YOU AND YOUR SAVINGS.

Get up to £2,000 in free shares

The value of your free share award depends on your net contribution per account between 10 February and 5 April 2025.

For example, if you transfer £5,000 to your SIPP and £10,000 to your ISA, you will receive a £50 and £150 free share, respectively.

Invest tax-free with an ISA

Invest up to £20,000 per year into an ISA and shelter your investments from capital gains tax and UK dividend tax.

Freetrade’s low-cost, flexible ISA means you’re left with more to invest, and can access your money without reducing your annual ISA allowance.

Take charge of your pensions with a SIPP

Having multiple small pension pots can be costly and confusing. The solution? A self-invested personal pension (SIPP), where you can consolidate your pensions in one place for better control and visibility.

The award-winning Freetrade SIPP offers a low-cost, intuitive way to streamline and manage your pension savings.
recommended provider for self invested personal pension by which
A SIPP IS A PENSION DESIGNED FOR YOU TO SAVE UNTIL YOUR RETIREMENT AND IS FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO MAKE THEIR OWN INVESTMENT DECISIONS. YOU CAN NORMALLY ONLY DRAW YOUR PENSION FROM AGE 55 (57 FROM 2028), EXCEPT IN SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES.

AT PRESENT, FREETRADE ONLY SUPPORTS UNCRYSTALLISED FUND PENSION LUMP SUMS (UFPLS) FOR CUSTOMERS  WHO WISH TO WITHDRAW FUNDS FROM THEIR SIPP AFTER THEIR 55TH BIRTHDAY. WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO SEEK FINANCIAL ADVICE BEFORE MAKING ANY WITHDRAWALS FROM YOUR SIPP.

Transfer an ISA

Enjoy low cost, tax-free investing with the Freetrade flexible ISA. That’s more money for your investments.

Transfer a pension

Got pension pots all over the place? Transfer them to a Freetrade SIPP and take control of your pensions.
Freetrade won't charge you to transfer your pension to us, but please check with your existing provider what fees or restrictions may apply from them. We cannot provide you with any advice therefore it is your responsibility to ensure you are happy that transferring to the Freetrade Pension is right for you.

If you're unsure if transferring your pension to Freetrade is right, you should take advice from a suitably qualified financial adviser. For more info, see our SIPP Key Features Document, Terms and Conditions, Charges Schedule and SIPP Declarations.
