June 6, 2022

Analyst ratings have landed for Plus members. You’ll start seeing them on stock pages this week, giving you a quick view of how analysts rate a company.

This is the first step in a major fundamentals upgrade, with financials, forecasts and key ratios coming soon. Not on Plus yet? Upgrade to unlock ratings.

From today, Plus members will see analyst ratings on their app.

We are gradually rolling out this feature to Plus members over the next week. Those using iOS can download the update directly from the app store.

This is the first in a series of major improvements we’re making to stock fundamentals.

What are stock fundamentals?

Stock fundamentals are key metrics that can help investors figure out a company’s worth. They’re used for fundamental analysis, a method for evaluating companies and determining the intrinsic value of their stocks to make buy or sell decisions.

Analyst ratings, for instance, show us how analysts view a particular stock. Learn more about them here

Why stock fundamentals?

Everyone makes their investment decisions differently. So, it’s important that the information you want is convenient for you to access.

We want you to be able to research and trade on a single platform. This is a step in that direction.

In the coming months, you’ll see new metrics and more in-depth analysis. For Plus members, this includes:

  • Company financials
  • Forecasts for earnings per share (EPS) and share price
  • Key ratios, such as price-to-book (P/B) and price/earnings-to-growth (PEG)

So if you’ve got a Plus subscription, head to any stock screens on your Freetrade app now to see analyst ratings in action.

Not a Plus member yet? Upgrade now to see analyst ratings and other metrics we’ll be rolling out over the coming months. We are also exploring ways to bring stock fundamentals to more subscribers in future.
