Building Freetrade

Insights are rolling out on your app

October 4, 2019
Insights are rolling out on your app
Insights, is our brand new app feature.

A new feature to help you understand your portfolio better.

Doughnuts.

They’re pretty popular here at Freetrade:

Unlocked laptops may result in ‘doughnuting’

Which may explain the circular shape of a brand new feature we’re rolling out on your app — Insights.

After testing the feature with our Beta Testers over the last few weeks, it’s time to share it with everyone starting from this week.

Insights. Not edible, but equally mouthwatering for those looking to diversify their portfolios.

What’s in the box?

Insights is a new section on your app which will help you understand your portfolio better.

You’ll be able to see information on the type of assets you hold, like Stocks or Bonds, plus Sector-level insights to make it easy to see at a glance which industries your investments are in.

This is the first iteration of many Insights features we’ll be building to give users the tools to build a diversified portfolio for long-term investing.

And of course, you can also browse these Sectors on the Discover tab on your app.

When can I tuck in?

You’ll find Insights on iOS right now, and we’re working to bring it to Android very shortly.

Check out our roadmap for more features coming to your app, and follow the Insights thread on the community for the latest news on Android rollout.

P.S. you should try it in Dark Mode. 🌑
