We’ve launched a new, simplified order experience in the Freetrade app.

  • The final buy/sell screen now shows price, FX conversion, number of shares, and total amount all in one place.
  • This update supports upcoming new order types, including setting prices and buying whole shares.
  • The improved flow is rolling out now on iOS, with Android coming shortly.
  • Designed to make reviewing and confirming orders clearer and easier.

In the recent Roadmap Update, we shared details on some new order types coming up on your Freetrade app.

These will include setting a price and defining a number of whole shares.

As part of this work, we’re releasing a new, improved order experience.

When you buy or sell a share, we’ve simplified the final screen in the flow to show the amount, including the FX conversion, latest price and no. of shares, all in one place before you confirm your buy.

This is rolling from today on iOS and will follow on Android shortly.

Let us know what you think, and keep checking in on updates as we introduce more order types and much more to your app.
