What’s a dividend?
Dividends are payments made by companies to their shareholders. These payments are usually taken from a company’s profits and issued a couple of times a year. We pay them directly into your Freetrade account as cash.
What’s new?
We know that you love receiving dividends, but that it can be hard keeping track of them after you receive the notification.
From today, you’ll receive information about your dividends in three ways:
- Push notification (make sure you have notifications enabled!)
- Activity feed
- Email (including a full breakdown of dividends per share, ex date, payment and tax info)
You’ll also soon be able to see dividend information in your Monthly Reports.
