We’re excited to welcome Paul Brooking as our new CFO, joining from Revolut and bringing senior experience from Paysafe, IG Group and PwC.

  • Paul joins during a year of 4x growth in customers, AuA and revenue.
  • His expertise will support our European expansion and scaling in Stockholm.

Both Paul and Adam shared their enthusiasm for the mission to get everyone investing.

We are delighted to introduce Paul, who joins our leadership team as CFO.

Paul joins us from Revolut, where he served as deputy CFO and Head of Financial Control.

Prior to Revolut, Paul held senior positions in payments platform Paysafe Group and London-listed trading platform IG Group. Paul started his career at PwC.

Paul joins us amid a period of record growth at Freetrade with funded customers, assets under administration (AuA) and revenue all growing by 4x between August 2020 and August 2021. Our growth trajectory will continue to increase as we expand across Europe and begin to scale operations in Stockholm.

Adam Dodds, Freetrade Founder and CEO, said “I am delighted to welcome someone with such a wealth of private and public company experience in senior finance roles to our team. Paul’s expertise will be invaluable as we continue to scale our business and expand into new markets.”

Paul Brooking, CFO, said: “I’m thrilled to be joining such an exciting business at this important point in its growth. The team’s commitment to get everyone investing is inspiring. There is a real need for a product that offers low-cost and equitable access to global equity markets that, importantly, puts customers’ long-term best interest at the heart of everything we do.”
