How we work
We operate a hybrid model built around in-person collaboration and focused work. Our teams typically spend three days a week in the office and two days from home, helping us stay connected while also creating space for deep work.

I’m Natasha, Chief People Officer at Freetrade, where I’m responsible for our organisational design, people strategy, and building a high-performing culture so both the people and the business can thrive. I’ve been at Freetrade since December 2023, and before that I worked at Ustwo, Clue, and Facebook before it became Meta.
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time running, usually far, often fast, and lifting weights to help me go even further and faster! When I’m not doing that, you’ll usually find me drawing, reading, or spending time with my kids.

Chief Technology Officer

I’m Shahid, Chief Technology Officer at Freetrade, where I’m responsible for Technology across Engineering, Product, Data, and Security. I’ve been at Freetrade since December 2022, and before that I worked at Amazon and Auction Technology Group. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me gaming, tackling a DIY project, going for a run, or following Manchester United.

I'm Jennsen and I've been at Freetrade since September 2025. As CMO, I lead everything marketing and operations: strategy, customer engagement, brand, asset transfer, and the team that brings it all to life.
Before Freetrade, I spent time scaling growth at a global delivery platform and then at the world's largest private education company, across Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. I'm used to operating in complex, high-stakes environments where the brief is basically "figure it out and move fast."
What gets me out of bed is problem-solving. Freetrade is reshaping how people in the UK think about investing and building wealth, which makes it a hard brief, but an exciting and meaningful one. Outside work, you'll usually find me running, often further than is sensible and occasionally in countries that aren't sensible either.

I’m Tristan, Senior Director of Risk & Compliance at Freetrade, where I’m responsible for Risk, Compliance, and Financial Crime. I’ve been with Freetrade for four years, and before joining Freetrade I worked at the FSA, KPMG and BlackRock. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me running, cycling, swimming, or finding an excuse to have a BBQ.

I’m Rory, and I’ve worked at Freetrade for almost five years. I’m the Growth and Marketing Director, looking after growth and engagement across the business. Before Freetrade, I worked in app marketing at M&C Saatchi on brands including Audible, before joining Trainline to build its app marketing function. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me cooking, in the gym, or following Northampton Saints.

I’m Rose, Director of Engineering at Freetrade, where I lead the engineering organisation. I joined Freetrade in January 2026, after five years at Bumble and 10 years at YOOX Net-A-Porter, so fintech is a new chapter for me. Outside of work, I have three children, so free time is a distant dream! I do, however, love live music, reading, and travelling with my family. Recent highlights include a road trip around Scotland and a three-week wildlife expedition in New Zealand.

I’m Tony, Product Director at Freetrade, and I joined around eight months ago. Before that, I worked at Nutmeg Saving and Investment, where I built up deep experience in fintech and digital wealth. At Freetrade, I look after some of our most important product areas, including growth and onboarding, the customer-facing app and UX, and the trading and execution experience at the heart of the platform.
I’m passionate about building products that make investing feel accessible and intuitive for everyone, which is a big part of what drew me to Freetrade. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me out on my bike tackling the hills of the Chilterns.

Director of Security, Privacy and IT

I’m Sami, Director and Head of Security, Privacy, and IT at Freetrade, and I’ve been here for around a year. Before joining, I led the central AppSec team across Europe at Meta and spent years leading security and privacy functions across regulated fintech environments in London. At Freetrade, I lead the SPI team, Security, Privacy, and IT. We guard customer data, investments, and savings while keeping the company running and growing.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me reading, lifting weights, or spending time with my family. What drives me is protecting millions of people’s portfolios and life savings, and ensuring security and privacy are never an afterthought as Freetrade scales.
